For general contractors

What can a GC expect from KDR on a public job?

Public work adds paperwork, schedules tied to a school calendar, and buildings that stay open. This is what your project team can expect from us.

Prevailing wage

14 prevailing wage projects since 2022 for a school district, state agencies, a city and a regional public authority. Wage rates are built into the bid and certified payroll goes to your team on your schedule.

Job order contracts

Small job orders are a regular part of our work. Classroom refreshes, lab renovations and suite build-outs on a university campus and in state buildings make up a large share of the project list above.

Occupied campuses

Schools, labs and state offices stay open while we work. We plan shutdowns and noisy work around classes, events and office hours, and we have powered portable classrooms that had to be ready for students.

Billing in your system

Pay applications go in the way you run them, including through Textura, with a schedule of values and retainage tracked from the first application.
